Ensembles | AIMF - Australian International Music Festival

A Festival for a Range of Ensembles

AIMF welcomes ensembles with different musical traditions, repertoire and performance goals. Each group can take part in a festival experience shaped around performance, development and connection.

Wind Bands

Bring your wind ensemble to Sydney for performance opportunities, adjudication, workshops and exchange with musicians from other participating groups.

Orchestras

Share your orchestral program in an international festival environment and receive valuable feedback that supports ensemble development.

Choirs

Perform, learn and connect through choral music in a festival program that brings voices and communities together.

Jazz Bands

Showcase your ensemble’s sound, musicianship and energy through festival performances and clinician-supported development.

Other Ensemble Types

If your group does not fit one of these categories, contact the festival team. We can review the ensemble and advise on suitable participation options.
