Established in 1989 the Australian International Music Festival is one of the most popular music festivals in Australia attracting a global cast.  With an average of 900 - 1300 participants each year the Australian International Music Festival attracts Choral, Wind Ensemble, Orchestral & Jazz Ensembles from Australia, China, Europe, Japan, New Zealand, Singapore and the USA providing a fantastic musical and cultural experience in June/ July.

Perform and workshop in World Class venues such as the Concert Hall of the Sydney Opera House, Sydney Recital Hall [Angel Place], Captain Cook Park [with a view directly of the Opera House], St Andrew’s Cathedral, Sydney Town Hall and the Sydney Conservatorium of Music.

The concert hall of the Sydney Opera House is one of the most famous in the world.  World class acts as the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, Chick Corea, Simply Red, Stomp to Diana Krall perform there regularly.  Even those who perform there often feel the awe of what is affectionately known as ‘The House’.
